Biography:

Flowers have been a lifelong passion for Wei Yao. Ever since he was a child, he loved flowers. It’s no wonder he incorporated that interest into his profession as a floral designer, and feels fortunate to do what he loves as a career.

Wei worked at several prestigious floral companies, where he was mainly engaged in floral gift design and product research. Becoming an expert floral designer gave him the chance to study design, but also the means to demand more from himself.

Wei is also proud to represent his country on the world stage and is grateful for the opportunity to learn from other world-class florists. In addition to floral design, his interests include cooking and music.

Wei Yao is representing China on behalf of Interflora.
